Time was of the essence when Fort Defiance Industries asked us to help them with a new website and logo. They were embarking on a new business development effort and needed their brand and online presence to reflect their position as a sharp, modern company with broad appeal to their prospective worldwide military and medical clients. To make the most of the time available, we developed the website and logo simultaneously as certain design characteristics and copy were completed.
Branding
The new Fort Defiance logo would be used not only on their website, business cards, brochures, etc. but metal “stamp” on the company’s products—namely its FDA-cleared P2131 Automated Field Steam Sterilizer. After several rounds of creative to get the logo and the font just right, we arrived at a new logo and brand that spoke perfectly to their capabilities, core product and target market.
Website
The Fort Defiance Industries needed a website. Prior to working with us the company had a single page online with a product photo and contact information only. This single page was expanded to a fully developed website reflecting the new corporate brand and tools were implemented to make it easy to update in the future. EVH Marketing and MarketCrest worked closely with management at Fort Defiance Industries to develop a clean, sharp website that was ready for future expansion and product additions.
Branding Guidelines
Branding guidelines were documented for the company’s use on corporate communications and with outside businesses, such as printers and ad specialties, to help maintain branding integrity across all platforms. We also worked on sell sheets designs, one for the P2131 Automated Field Steam Sterilizer and several blank sell sheet templates were provided for future use.
Trade Show Materials
A simple banner design was created for use in a trade show display.
There are lots of reasons why your business may not have marketing staff: you may not have 40 hours of marketing work to be done each week, you may not be able to afford salary and benefits for additional employees, or maybe you just don’t want those goofy marketing people dancing around the office everyday.
Neither is marketing. Alright, I wouldn’t begin to presume marketing is anything close to brain surgery, but the point is why would you do the marketing work yourself when you can work with a marketing expert?
